VOLUTE SPRING.
Let’s not ignore the Volute spring between the manages. The spring is a closed loop of stainless-steel, specifically created to keep dirt and debris from obstructing it. It likewise compresses farther than a traditional “helix” (coil) spring, allowing the handles/blades to close more firmly.
BUMPERS.
